In combination with the Scharmüller cross member and trailer slider, the following towing capacities are possible:
- Trailer with continuous brake system: 21,000 kg

- Trailer without brakes: 750 kg
- Central axle trailer: 13,000 kg, with a support load of 1,000 kg

This makes the U5023 a fully multifunctional towing vehicle – from passenger car trailers, central axle trailers, to traditional turntable trailers, and features the right coupling for every required height!

Ideal for operating your crane: the Unimog itself is compact and thus can tow very long trailers.
Our special model is also equipped with a crawler gear group: perfect for precision maneuvering, allowing gentle clutch operation and always the right speed selection.
