This 1968 Scania L8046-BEK Vabis tipper is in original and good condition. It is built on a heavy-duty ladder frame with leaf suspension, designed to withstand high loads and ensure a long service life.
The L-series was the last generation of Scania vehicles with the distinctive bonnet before the switch to forward-control cabs.
Despite this change, L-models remained in production for many years.
The robust L-series trucks were popular in road construction, sand and gravel transport, and heavy short-haul operations. They were well known for their strong chassis, straightforward engineering, and high tractive power.
Many of these models easily covered more than a million kilometres, which contributed to Scania's reputation for durability.
