Opel Blitz 3.6-42-30

This rare Opel Blitz was built in Brandenburg in 1940 and acquired by the current owner in 1982. The restoration was completed in 1993.

This Blitz features the original factory cab made from rare steel and is equipped with an open cargo platform. The entire drivetrain (engine, gearbox, and axles) has been fully overhauled, with all bearings replaced.

After extensive research in several countries, an original Imbert wood gas generator was located, restored to its original condition, and installed.

The owner’s company originally operated this type of Opel Blitz for transporting building materials.
