Interesting MB Vario 814 D as Maxi panel van with variable double cab: 6 seats, or 2 seats and 2 sleeping berths. Mid-mounted living area with kitchen and bathroom (toilet/washroom). In the rear cargo area: fitted shelving and a workbench. The vehicle features two additional swing doors on the right, separating wall to the load area in between.

This vehicle comes directly from the Federal Police and was converted by Christian Miesen for use as a diver transporter.

The bodywork still has rust damage on the subsequently installed doors and hatches, but the sills and frame are clean and in good condition. For an extra charge, we can professionally repair the body and optionally do partial resprays. Maintenance services and the installation of new tyres are also available by request.

We have already replaced the starter batteries and test driven the vehicle – it runs very well. Engine, gearbox, and rear axle are dry.

Features a long rear axle with differential lock, ratio 40:11 (I=3.636). According to documentation, top speed is 124 km/h, with no speed limitation.

From March 2028, it will be eligible for registration as a historic vehicle (Oldtimer), reducing annual vehicle tax to just €195.

Living area: 2 opposite seats, Truma hot water boiler, Cramer 2-burner gas hob, Electrolux refrigerator, chemical toilet and wash basin in washroom, various lockers and cupboards.

Repair packages available in our workshop for an additional cost:
1. Maintenance (including engine oil & brake fluid change, new drag link) = from €900 incl. VAT
2. Tyres: currently outdated. 6 new tyres 205/75 R22.5 124/122 M M+S incl. fitting = from €1,400 incl. VAT
3. Bodywork: repairs under gas compartment and other hatches (left), under additional right-hand door and hatches (right) = from €4,500 incl. VAT
4. Body polish: all external visible areas except central roof section = €800 incl. VAT
5. TÜV main inspection, emissions test and technical reclassification of vehicle type (currently still special-purpose police vehicle) = €450 incl. VAT
