Based on experience, the bare chassis without the fire service body weighs under 4 tons.

Therefore, highly attractive as a base for building a robust expedition vehicle, which can realistically be configured ready for travel with a practical total weight just within the 7.49 t limit – potentially with some payload reserve.

This example already features the newer 6-cylinder engine with 6,823 cc and 150 hp.
